UX and UI for enterprise tax application suite
Look and feel + UX for a web based task manager application designed for corporate tax auditors and mergers and acquisition specialists.
The primary client was a Big Four professional services firm. Our role was to assist the in-house design and development team in the redesign of a tax process management application suite for one of their clients, a financial services firm.
Originally framed as a “just help us make it pretty” project, we were able to quickly identify several key opportunities to improve the application on a more meaningful level.
- Bulk editing
- Presentation of large sets of records
- Ease of use across desktop, laptop, and tablet devices (primarily Microsoft Surface)
- Dynamic customization of data view
- Nesting an indeterminate number of levels
- Intuitive navigation while displaying item details
